Job Description:
A company is looking for a Risk Adjustment Coding Auditor II,
requiring AAPC or AHIMA coding certification.
Key Responsibilities
Perform over-reads of vendor ICD-10 coding and review provider
documentation
Validate the accuracy of ICD-10 codes assigned by the vendor and
track trends
Participate in quality coding initiatives and maintain knowledge of
coding guidelines
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED is required
Minimum of three (3) years of diagnostic coding experience with a
firm understanding of ICD-10
At least three (3) years of experience in auditing medical
records
Experience with Risk Adjustment methodology is required
AAPC or AHIMA coding certification is required
