Job Description:
A company is looking for an Academic Scheduling Coordinator
responsible for planning and managing student course schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Develops and adjusts the University schedule using analytical
skills and scheduling software
Maintains knowledge of academic changes and registers students
while providing customer service for scheduling inquiries
Conducts periodic graduation checks and monitors course
prerequisites and degree program requirements
Required Qualifications
Minimum of an Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred
Preferred experience in higher education, particularly in academic
services or student success
Equivalent combination of related work and educational experience
may be considered
Experience with student information systems and scheduling
technology preferred
Understanding of academic curriculum and federal regulations such
as FERPA
