As a Production Scheduler you will:Plan scheduling activities, including the scheduling of production, coordination, and control of finished goods inventories within approved parameters.
Maintain a timely schedule of production for the plant, incorporating customer orders, manufacturing planning parameters, capacities, and planned inventory levels.
Assist with the assignment of orders by assembly line to maintain balanced shipping capacities, manufacturing capacities, and inventory levels within plant productivity.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely availability of materials and resources for production.
Assist with the maintenance of excess inventory through rework orders to maximize space and opportunities for new product launches.
Conduct daily audits of work order progress to minimize past due schedules and update multiple communication channels with cross-functional departments.
Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address any delays or issues.
Maintain daily communication with stakeholders to ensure positive customer experiences and manage customer expectations and delivery timelines.
Communicate schedule changes and updates to relevant departments.
Prioritize urgent customer orders when necessary, ensuring a productive flow is sustained on the manufacturing floor.
Work with cross-functional departments to ensure the full scheduling cycle, from order entry to shipping, is effective.
Run daily reports to ensure there are no lead time violations.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all production activities.
Identify and resolve scheduling pain points to minimize delays in production schedules.

This is a 1st Shift Opportunity
Pay Rate is $22-25/hr

The qualified candidate will have:

Basic job knowledge of systems and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education.
Minimum 3 years of experience with scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as Excel.
Ability to work well with others in a matrix team environment.
Strong organizational and planning skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced mathematical skills.
Basic understanding of complex manufacturing processes.
HVAC background preferred.
