Analyst will be responsible for managing and prioritizing incoming
requests, maintaining the backlog, analyzing business processes,
gathering requirements, and creating data-driven solutions to
improve decision-making. The Business Systems Analyst will serve as
a technical and functional data subject matter expert for the
Reporting & Analytics team.The Business Systems Analyst will hit
the ground running focusing on capturing requirements through
refinement sessions and building a backlog for our NetSuite data
source migration initiative.The ideal candidate will have 3+ years
of experience in reporting and analytics, proficiency in Power BI,
and a solid understanding of data warehouse concepts.KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze data from multiple sources, including table structures,
field mapping, data scrubbing, and data continuity.
- Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and
insights.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power
BI.
- Design, implement, and optimize data warehouse solutions to
support reporting and analytics needs.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through robust validation
processes.
- Administer applications to ensure correct configuration and
support for internal customer needs, proactively mitigating
issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business
requirements.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather detailed
requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical
specifications.
- Create detailed documentation, including data models, process
flows, and user guides.
- Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and other IT
team members to develop and implement data solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical
stakeholders effectively.
- Identify and implement best practices for reporting and data
analysis.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA)
activities.
- Implement basic integrations into the ERP system.
- Independently analyze operational workflows and existing system
functionalities to identify and implement necessary application
changes.
- Provide support for existing interfaces between applications,
ensuring timely remediation of errors.REQUIRED SKILLS AND
EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years' experience as a Business Analyst working with
reporting and analytics, Power BI or Data Warehouse teams is a
must.
- 3+ years' experience with SQL and database management.
- 3+ years' experience with data migration from non-native
applications into a custom environment.
- 3+ years' experience writing requirements, i.e., epics, user
stories, and acceptance criteria.
- 3+ years' experience prioritizing and managing backlogs.
- In-depth experience working with applications/tools to capture,
manage and communicate business and technical requirements, i.e.,
Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, etc.
- Experience with ticketing systems, i.e., Remedy, ServiceNow,
ConnectWise, etc.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Visio, Project, and
SharePoint.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint,
Outlook, and Excel).
- Effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume, and
evolving work environment.
- Manage multiple and changing priorities, meeting deadlines in
an entrepreneurial setting.
- Quickly learn new software solutions and business
processes.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, with excellent time
management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.PREFERRED
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with NetSuite.
- Experience with supporting CRM & ERP systems.Actual salary will
be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience,
skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business
needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations
may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable
incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not
included in the base salary.$99,900 - $145,000 USDThe Perks:
