Job Description:
Volt is immediately hiring an CNC Programmer for a leading
manufacturing company in Otay Mesa!

As a CNC Programmer you will:
Study drawings and blueprints of components to be manufactured
Determine required machines for process and plan order of work
Use CAD/CAM software to program production machines
Ensure tasks align with customer specifications
Write, develop, and edit CNC programs for continuous
improvements.
Create instructions for machinists.
Calculate where materials should be cut.
Communicate with operators using the programs.
Run simulations or tests to check completed programs.
Prepare geometric layouts using proper software.
Select necessary cutting tools.
Analyze job orders and perform calculations.
Write and modify programs for increased efficiency.
Simplify tooling time and increase productivity.
Make decisions to improve production efficiency
This is a Full-Time Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
The ideal candidate will have:
High school diploma or GED, Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing
Engineering is preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience operating CNC Programming
Proficient computer skills
Ability to understand CAD/CAM drawings
Proficient in utilizing CAD/CAM to create programs and/or design
drawings for production purposes
Good English comprehension
Attention to detail
Good mathematics skills
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm
Pay Rate: $27.50-$29 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on
several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
etc.
