Summary: 3 Reasons Consulting, LLC is looking for an experienced Senior Programmer to develop software projects for The Naval Health Research Center (NHRC). This role involves taking full ownership of projects from start to finish, ensuring customer requirements are met through customized solutions. The ideal candidate will utilize their extensive expertise in software development (Python, Visual Basic, C++, .NET) and systems analysis to deliver high-quality, efficient applications. Minimum Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of experience as a systems analyst or software developer including Software Development Lifecycle Management and best practices, application development including .NET, C++, C#, F#, Visual Basic and Python - Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science is preferred Services to be performed---include, but are not limited to: - Utilize expertise in programming languages such as Python, Visual Basic, C++, and .NET for software development. - Capture user requirements and develop functional specifications for tailored solutions, including pilots and prototypes to ensure refined solutions meet customer needs. - Develop, maintain, and upgrade local applications using the .NET programming language to ensure a secure, efficient IT infrastructure. - Migrate legacy applications to modern standards, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal disruptions. - Use tools such as ETL, data validation, data mapping, and other migration tools to support application transformations. - Focus on maintaining data quality, compliance, and standards during migration efforts. - Develop and optimize systems such as Data Management Systems, Analytical Tools, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) integrations to support the company's mission. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and users to ensure iterative development via stakeholder meetings, code reviews, and output reviews. - Work with users to understand business process workflows, identify inefficiencies, and develop automation solutions to address pain points. - Use Visual Studio to support programming tasks. - Ensure all programming-related documentation is created, maintained, and updated for future reference and compliance. - Take ownership of projects, ensuring all customer requirements are clearly understood and met. - Drive projects to completion, leveraging experience in software development and systems analysis.
