  Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector, Networked Information Solutions Division, Secure Processing & Networks Business Unit (SPAN BU) is seeking a Contracts Manager 1 to join our team. This position will support the Network Operations Sustainment Support & Modernization (N-OSSM) Operating Unit within the SPAN Business Unit.
  This position is located in San Diego, CA. May consider a hybrid teleworking arrangement for this role.
  What You Will Get To Do:
  This manager position will lead the N-OSSM OU contracts team of contract professionals to deliver strong customer satisfaction, successful financial performance, and risk mitigation while ensuring proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer requirements.
  Responsibilities of the N-OSSM OU Contracts Manager include:
  
  • 
    
  • Supporting proposal and negotiation efforts with existing customers
    
  • Training, leading, and mentoring a team of Contracts Professionals
    
  • Supporting Business Development in the shaping and capture of new business pursuits.
    
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
    
    Qualifications:
    Basic Qualifications:
    
    • 
      
    • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years' experience working in Contracts Administration or related field or 3 years with a Master's degree
      
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Contracts Administration in a FAR/DFARS environment
      
    • Experience negotiating and administering various contract types of varying sizes and types of agreements
      
    • Strong proposal development skills, solid negotiation skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
      
    • Current DoD Secret clearance is Required
      
      Preferred Qualifications:
      
      • 
        
      • Background in DoD contracting, prior experience with the USG and/or Major Defense Contractor customers
        
      • Demonstrated 1+ years of leadership or supervisor experience in the contracts field
        
      • Experience working development and manufacturing programs
        
      • Experience with OTA, CRADAs, and SBIRs
        
      • MBA or JD is a plus but not a requirement
        
      • Current Top Secret clearance

        Salary Range: $104,600 - $156,800
