Our people make us who we are, and we create incredible products and experiences that empower us to THINK OUTSIDE.Performs a wide variety of tasks to support the Pro Bilt vehicle customization program with the goal of achieving customer and dealer satisfaction, quality service and the highest level of craftsmanship.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.

• Removes stock components and installs custom parts on off road sport side by side vehicles.
• Services vehicles by checking and changing oil, oil filter and air filter, checking fluid levels in transmission, gearcases, radiator, and any other fluid reservoirs.
• Maintain vehicles functional condition by assisting with inspections; repairing mechanical and electrical system malfunctions; replacing Pro armor and Polaris parts and components as required.
• Inspection for possible damaged or worn parts such as drive belt, clutch, wheel bearings and brake pads.
• Proficient and safe in the use of basic hand and power tools
• Constantly learning the duties of a mechanic involved in hands-on repair, maintenance, and up-fitment of vehicles.
• Perform drilling, bolting, soldering, cutting, and other aspects of mechanical work.
• Verify vehicle safety by assisting and conducting test drives, adjusting controls and systems.
• Provide helpful feedback to Management and Engineering to overcome technical fitment and design issues that may arise with a product line or part.
• Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock and notifying supervisor of parts to be ordered.
• Maintain vehicles appearance by cleaning, washing, or detailing.
• Maintain proper safety procedures.
• Help to assist sales, customer service and production with installation questions or concerns.QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of one year as mechanics assistant or training in a related position.
  • Minimum one year of related experience with off-road industry a plus.
  • Skilled in the operation of a variety of tools and equipment used in the repair or building of off-road vehicles.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and acute attention to detail.
    • Bilingual skills a plus.
    • Ability to work effectively and establish good working relationships with all employees.
    • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasmPHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
      • Ability to engage in manual labor for extended periods of time in various working conditions.
      • Lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
      • Must be able to sit or stand 8 hours a day.
      • May be required to work overtime or weekends.WORK ENVIRONMENT:
        • A large percentage of work time is spent in a production warehouse where temperatures range from warm to cool and noise level can be moderate to high.The salary range for California is $20.70 per hour to $23.68 per hour.
