Job Description:

Well known Company in Torrance is looking for a Tax Specialist to provide assistance to the tax Manager on daily functions of Tax Department. You will be responsible for the following: Communicating with clients regarding their payroll and tax issues. Communicating with the IRS and other federal, state and city agencies regarding client tax issues. Assisting Production Department based on guidelines by the Tax Manager. Assisting Tax Manager in handling filing tax returns. Researching and responding to IRS, CA and out of state Tax Notices. Communicating directly with Client Care Advocates about client tax issues. Full assistance and cooperation during quarter end and year end periods; ensure client tax returns are filed as appropriate and copies are sent to clients. Must have experience researching and responding to IRS, CA and out of state Tax Notices, tax filing experience. Millennium and Evolution tax platform experience a plus.
